You wouldn't know by looking at the colt he was a yearling. Infact by his attitude you could have sworn he was a two year old, but he was infact just a yearling. With some of the best horses in his pedigree, it was undeniable that this one colt would make a huge impact on the racing world. What kind of impact he'd make though was still to be decided.
Ears laced back to his skull the striking yearling threw up his head, dark brown eyes narrowed as he glared down at Cassie. With a stud chain attached to the bit of the double bridle in his mouth, the firey colt pushed off with his steel forehooves launching himself in a powerful rear. Pistons struck out at the air infront of him, teeth bared as a fierce growl left his ash hued lips.
Cassie gave a firm yank on the stud chain, the reins tied in a knot just above the colt's withers. At least Giovanni wasn't as bad as Augustus. When it came to being bad to the bone, Augustus was it - he had no limits, but Ty here, well even though he was bad he wasn't a killer. There was a fine line between the two.
"Ty cut it out!"

The chestnut filly shimmered brilliantly under the sunlight as she dozed peacefully in the paddock, her ears flopping a bit sideways as she shifted her weight. From her dazzling white blaze to her three white socks that gleamed from good health you knew this filly would rock the racing world. With the legendary likes of Xenophon, Stormwing, and Vintage in her pedigree Santana would definitely make an huge impact.
At the familiar sound of my whistle Santana jerked to awakeness, her ears instantly flicking forward tuning into Melissa's whistle that she knew without having to see her beloved owner. Blinking several times before swishing her tail lightly against her flanks Ana burst forward, copper mane being combed by the breeze as she cantered fluidly toward the gate.
"Hey Ana, sweets." Melissa crooned to the elegant filly as she leaned against the fencing and scratched behind her filly's ears. The chestnut filly was 99% of the time and absolute angel especially around her except when Korona or Atalanta were around.

Deep down Ty was a good boy. It was rare for anyone to see this side of him, but when he was out in his paddock in the middle of the night with Maria, he would prance around her, ears pricked and eyes alight as he showed off for her. Maria was trying to get Cassie and Ty to have the same relationship, since Maria had to run and manage GMR so she didn't have time to dedicate to her racers as well. Daniel and Cassie however were doing an amazing job with them, it was just the few difficult ones that Maria was helping them with so the transition would be easier. Ty was one of them.
Cassie glanced over the black's withers to see his closely related half sister in the paddock at the center of the track. Santana looked amazing, and it was Cassie's first time at seeing her. Infact she was the only one from GMR Equestrian who had seen her now. Santana's dam was Vintage, and Ty's dam was a daughter of Vintage, which is why they are so closely related, through both dam and having the same sire. Ty had the same black coat as his sire, with a striking white blaze. His eyes sometimes appeared a crimson red when he was very high strung, but otherwise they were a light chocolate brown.
"Ty, please behave."
Cassie said firmly, giving a firm tug on the stud chain. Ty threw his head up and down, flaring his nostrils, before pressing his muzzle against his powerful chest as he trotted smoothly alongside his handler. He was a handsome devil. A small smile creapt on Cassie's lips as Ty began to settle, relieved he was doing so. Slowly he was coming along, and you could tell on first sight he wasn't a horse to underestimate. In a year he'd race, and Cassie knew at this moment he would be ready.

Effortlessly clipping a lead rope to Santana's gleaming brown leather halter with her name engraved on the nameplate along the cheekpiece of the halter. Mel didn't allow anyone else around Santana or Folksong or even Devious. They were her three girls and everyone knew that. She had high standards when it came to their care.
Ana was a true rarity at being seen out, hardly did she leave WB's property unless it was a gentle hack over to Rockstar or Imperial Glory Studs for a visit. Ana's bright and attentive ears came forward at her closely bred half-brother's call and she stomped a hoof, tail swishing lightly against her flanks as she gaze at Giovanni. Stepping out daintly of the paddock next to Mel the Xenophon daughter whinnied out in a angelic call.
A chestnut like Geronimo, Santana was an exception to the other Xenophon clan. She was X's only chestnut daughter and the only other Xenophon daughter was Belladona, Geronimo's younger full sister. Blowing out deeply Ana reared a bit on her front legs, ears flicking backwards.
"Easy there Ana belle." She crooned running one hand down the chestnut's shoulder once Santana had dropped to the ground, head held high with a touch of cool regality to it.

Maria was insistant as of late for Ty to stay clear of Diesal, Augustus, FS Dead Empire and Rocknfire. When he was around any of them he was foul in temprement, and too hot to handle. When he was away from them, and with a lot calmer and nicer horse he was a lot easier to handle. He was just a little high strung and excited then. It all depended on who he was with, which was wierd and something Maria hadn't seen before. She was relieved though that he could be a good boy and easy to handle, which meant his training was easier. When it came to the other colts though [previously mentioned] well she had no idea what to do but the same tough love training she was used too.
Spotting the chestnut filly, Ty pricked his ears, bright brown eyes taking her in as he held his head high, flaring his nostrils to catch her scent. Ty obviously hadn't seen her before but she smelt familiar to him, more so then the other Xenophon foals, so decided she was okay and that he liked her. Tossing his head up into the air, he leapt forward prancing, letting out a gentle squeal before pressing his muzzle to his chest as he once more settled into a trot.
Cassie laughed at this antics, having not seen him act like this before. It was strange. So Maria had been right, he does have a good heart. Shaking her head she gave a smile and a wave to Melissa, before leading Ty over. She didn't let him get too close, just close enough so he had to stretch his head to touch his muzzle with hers. Cassie looked the gorgeous chestnut filly over before looking at Melissa, for once not worried about what Giovanni was going to do.
"Wow, she looks so much better then I've heard about."

Santana got along pretty well with everyone minus Korona and Atalanta. Ana and Devious were merely living next to one another but they were alright around each other. Santana's big buddy was Folksong, although the chestnut filly was more known than her bay equine friend. With Folksong now getting broke to saddle and starting some light race training Santana was still being lazy living happily in her paddock. Song had even been clocked at a short two furlong gallop yesterday with an great time and hadn't been let out all the way either.
Santana rolled one eye, clearly undecided about the black colt. Flaring her nostrils lightly, her muzzle quivered as she attempted to catch his scent. "wanna meet Ty, babe?" Melissa asked softly and Ana's ear flicked toward her, one warm brown eye gazing happily at her owner. It was clear the two adored each other and they were closer than any of the papers could describe.
Moving out into a walk with Ana close behind at her usual floaty walk she greeted Cassie with a welcoming grin. Picking up a prance of regal air the chestnut filly crowded close to greet Giovanni with ears pricked forward and eyes bright.
"hey, thanks. This must be Giovanni. Good looking colt." Melissa said, one eye protectively watching Santana. God forbid something happen to Santana or Giovanni. Apparently Ana liked Ty though, that was a definite plus but then again Ana had hit it off with Anarchi, another son of Xenophon. It must be a family thing that the offspring of Xenophon got along so well with each other.

"Thanks, and that he is. I'm sure Ty would say thankyou if he could talk, and if he had any manners."
Cassie teased. At this Ty turned his head to look at her and snorted indignantly, ears flicked back as a look of disagreement flooded onto his face. He looked adorable. Cassie laughed, and for the first time since she met Ty was beginning to feel like they were bonding. She raised her hand up to his nose, rubbing the end of his white blaze softly before looking at Melissa with a smile.
Ty's head then turned back to look at Ana, ears flicked forward as he pressed his velvet muzzle up against her own, big honey brown eyes bright with joy. The sunlight flooded over his pitch black coat, lighting up every strand of his masculine body. It had to be said, Giovanni looked a lot like his sire, and was the only X foal to be black like his daddy. Cassie smiled softly at Santana, noticing how a like she looked like Geronimo, as well as Ty. She was a beauty. [/sub][/blockquote]

Santana squealed lightly and one ear went back an fraction, her muzzle quivered before she took a playful nip at Ty. Jingling the lead slightly in slight warning Melissa brushed one hand against Santana's neck, tugging playfully at the yearling's short mane.
Ana swished her tail, standing quietly watching Giovanni with a bit of interest. Her warm brown eyes flashed with joy as she pushed at Mel with her muzzle. She looked a lot like Geronimo but at the same time was very different from the older Xenophon son.
